The Undertaker's 10 Most Dramatic WWE Segments

1. 'Killing' Paul Bearer By Suffocating Him In Cement (The Great American Bash 2004)

The number one entry on our list, from The Great American Bash 2004, is as awesome as it is stupid; a bizarre event that exists now as a relic of a bygone era in which a man could be encased in a glass crypt while a match took place, which decided if his fate was to be rescued or to be suffocated under an avalanche of freshly poured cement. There is absolutely no way that WWE would get away with such a thing in the current PG-era, and while that might be considered a good thing (murder is probably not ideal for kiddies to watch in their wrestling), it's certainly an intriguing curiosity to look at nowadays. The backstory to the match involved that mad genius Paul Heyman, who was 'controlling' The Undertaker after The Dudley Boyz had kidnapped Paul Bearer and held him against his will. Taker was booked in a handicap match at the PPV against the Dudleys, with the stipulation that if he didn't lay down and lose on purpose, then Heyman would bury Bearer in the cement. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FyBkQTr4qI Of course, Undertaker summarily disposed of the Dudleys (who were taking part in a rare PPV main event), but then swerved Heyman and the WWE audience by pulling the lever on the cement truck himself, burying his old 'friend' underneath the cement. Harsh. But have no fear, Bearer would somehow survive all this and return years later, aligning himself with Kane...who would be tricked by Edge into hurling Bearer off a balcony and to his death. Again. Wrestling! What say you? Are there any awesome Undertaker moments that have been left out? Sound off in the comments below.
