10. Taker's Big Heel Turn As He Reveals Truth About Kane
On the October 19 1998 Raw, The Undertaker reunited with Paul Bearer. He then proceeded to cut a promo, which confirmed his first proper heel turn in six years. Part of that promo was the first mention of unleashing a new "ministry of darkness" and the segment helped to set up what was to be a great run for the deadman. But the most memorable part of the promo was the shock admission that he had been the one who had set the fire that killed his parents. Speaking to the camera, he chillingly told Kane "I set that fire. I set that fire because you were weak as a child." It was a major shock moment in what had been one of the core narratives of the Attitude Era. After the gasps of the crowd subsided, there was a ton of buzz about the new direction.
