The Undertaker's New WWE Book: 10 Things To Expect

5. Kane To Feature Heavily

It's pretty mind-blowing to imagine that Kane was only supposed to really be around for one major feud with The Undertaker, before being discarded as yet another monster 'The Phenom' had overcome. Defying the odds and exceeding expectations, Glenn Jacobs - the man behind the Kane character - made the whole thing a definite success, one who could stand on his own merits rather than simply just being known as another Undertaker victim. If 'Undertaker: 25 Years Of Destruction' doesn't feature a healthy amount of coverage on the link between these storyline brothers, there's little doubt it would be a crying shame. Kane isn't crucial exactly to The Undertaker's story, but he does represent an important part of the legacy of the character. After all, Kane would have never come to be had Undertaker not been so successful. That the then-WWF felt comfortable about launching the career of another wrestler by associating him as an on-screen relative to The Undertaker shows just how powerful a figure he has long been to the company. For Kane's part, he has always lived up to the billing, and deserves to be praised for doing so.
