Madison Rayne appeared on All Elite Wrestling and IMPACT Wrestling shows on the same night on Thursday, featuring on both AEW Dark: Elevation and IMPACT! on AXS.

Both episodes were pretaped, hence her ability to do so. Nonetheless, she was present for a backstage segment on IMPACT!, interrupting Mia Yim's interview with Gia Miller before Gail Kim walked in, booking a match between the wrestlers for next week's show. That bout was taped in Louisville, Kentucky on 16 July.

Meanwhile, on Dark: Elevation, Rayne took aim at the AEW TBS Championship. Sitting on commentary as the show started, Madison was accosted by Jade Cargill and Stokely Hathaway after the opening bout pitting Emi Sakura against Hikaru Shida. Hathaway and Cargill talked down to the five-time IMPACT Knockouts Champion, so Rayne issued a challenge.

Instead of accepting, Hathaway and Cargill told Madison she could face Baddies member Leila Grey on tonight's Rampage, which has now been booked.

Rayne was announced as a new AEW hire earlier this week. As well as competing between the ropes, she is to serve as a coach for the company's women's division, which was mentioned on Dark: Elevation.
