THIS WWE Locker Room Leader Has CM Punk's Back!

CM Punk has an important friend behind the scenes in WWE, and his name is one Randy Orton - 'The Viper' says both men have a kinship because they've both had a "a dark cloud" hanging over them backstage in the past.

Randy told WWE's 'The Bump' that Punk is a "hell of a guy", and that he wishes him nothing but the best during this second go-around in the company. He's "happy" to have a top worker like CM back on his team, and was thrilled to share the returnee stage with him at last November's Survivor Series: WarGames PLE.

Both men have mutual respect for one another, that's for sure.

Peeling the curtain back, Orton revealed that he shared a hug with Punk backstage at that show. Randy also isn't sure you could ever call professional wrestlers "mature", but likes to think both are in a better place now than they were the last time they shared a locker room.

In short, Orton thinks it'd be foolish for him to throw stones about backstage nonsense considering some of his antics over the years. He just wants everyone to move forwards and do business.
