Unless Austin Theory was working last night (and there's a decent chance that he was), Johnny Gargano vs. Kushida appears to have been pulled from this weekend's WWE NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day show.

Kushida and Gargano were set to contest the latter's NXT North American Championship. Now, it appears Theory will fight Kushida on tonight's NXT instead.

Theory tweeted the following video on behalf of his stablemate in The Way a few short hours ago:-

Blaming Kushida for Gargano not appearing at Vengeance Day (which goes down on Valentine's Day - 14 February), Austin confirmed the big change. WWE is yet to officially acknowledge this.

Here's how the TakeOver: Vengeance Day card looks following the change:-

NXT Title: Finn Balor (c) vs. Pete Dunne

NXT Women's Title Triple Threat: Io Shirai (c) vs. Toni Storm vs. Mercedes Martinez

Women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Final: Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez vs. Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon or The Way

Men's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Final: MSK or Legado Del Fantasma vs. Grizzled Young Veterans or Timothy Thatcher and Tommaso Ciampa

The remaining Dusty Classic semi-finals will be contested on tonight's show, seemingly along with Kushida vs. Gargano.
