Tito Ortiz Says He's Returning To TNA
"I’ll be coming back to TNA and doing some stuff. It’s in the works with Dixie."
In a story released earlier, MMA superstar Quinton "Rampage" Jackson said he has no plans to return to TNA wrestling, and had harsh words for the company. It seems as if his MMA rivals "King" Mo Lawal and Tito Ortiz don't feel the same way, however, as Ortiz says that he plans to make a return to the company this fall. Ortiz, who debuted a year ago in the company without ever competing, was brought in to build his MMA fight with Jackson, which never happened due to a neck injury from Ortiz. However, Ortiz says he'd read to make a return, following a win inside the cage over Alexander Shlemenko. "Im actually returning August or September. Ill be coming back to TNA and doing some stuff. Its in the works with Dixie. She reached out to me and Im a big wrestling fan. Ive been a wrestling fan since Junkyard Dog! We have some ideas," Ortiz told Cage Side Seats. Tito also commented on TNA's situation with Spike TV, in which has been a hot topic in the world of wrestling this week: I think Spike TV needs pro wrestling on there. I know they have a big fan base. Maybe its all just negotiations, back-and-forth with money. Its a business and I understand that, so well see what happens," said Ortiz. Ortiz also appeared for TNA in 2005, working as a guest referee.
