4. The It FactorS Of Professional Wrestling
http://youtu.be/Qk74Q65N5Bo Another pre-match promo, as both Bobby Roode and Austin Aries come out to announce their intention to collect every single title in TNA, including their current aim which is the World Tag Team Titles. Though it is clear that the two still have some differences of opinion, their lust for gold is overpowering any friction between the two, as they challenge the current holders Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez. The champions come out and there is going to be a match between Guerrero and Aries, where if Aries wins then he and Roode get their shot. I wonder which way this match is going to go. The match was fast-paced and involved a mixture of high-flying and technical wrestling that would appeal to any fan watching at home and in the arena. The crowd was noisy, and quite split on their allegiances for this match. Guerrero was as per usual providing his clever brand of wrestling prowess, but this match above all evidenced why Aries is one of the greatest wrestlers performing today. He doesn't miss a beat and is high energy all the time, which is why the crowd continues to applaud his ability despite his nefarious heel actions. The match, like last week's contest between Roode and Hernandez, ended in controversy, as Guerrero connected with the Frog Splash and looked set to get the pinfall. However, Roode enters the ring to distract the referee, and whilst Hernandez chases him away, this allows Aries to recover and connect with the Brain Buster for the win. The upcoming tag team action between these two teams will hopefully be as exciting as it is being built up to be, but personally Roode and Aries at the moment seem to be the most interesting combination in wrestling, and should therefore soon be holding the gold.
