TNA were "livid" over their now-former wrestler PCO's destruction of the promotion's Digital Media Title at GCW's The People vs. GCW event on Sunday (19 January).

PCO won a pre-show battle royal at The People vs. GCW. Afterwards, he cut a short, angry promo, asking for somebody to pass him his tools. Said tools were a chair and a sledgehammer. Propping the Digital Media belt on the chair, PCO proceeded to smash it with the hammer, then started to cut a shoot promo on TNA before the feed cut away.

In a new report, Fightful Select confirms TNA's angry response. TNA sources indicated that PCO was set to finish up with the company this Thursday, where he'd lose the Digital Media Title and walk away after his contract expired. Internally, the promotion feels like PCO's act was motivated by his contract not being renewed.

TNA claim, too, that PCO destroyed a replica Digital Media Title and that they have the real strap. Sources close to PCO have denied this.

On the GCW side, people within the company said PCO went into business for himself. PCO had purportedly made it sound to them like he was going to do something that'd be part of a storyline for TNA's next television tapings. Per the report, "they quickly became aware it wasn't."

PCO is not expected back in TNA. His contract expired towards the end of 2024.

PCO has tweeted several times since the incident, including this criticism of TNA's current management:

TNA's parent organisation Anthem Sports & Entertainment terminated Scott D'Amore as TNA President in February 2024. He has since been replaced by Anthony Cicione.
