TNA Slammiversary 2016: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best

2. World Heavyweight Title: Drew Galloway (c) Vs. Bobby Lashley

Bobby Lashley Drew McIntyre
ImpactWrestling.com

Result: Lashley chokes out Galloway to win the title (17:03).

Rating: Despite how mixed the rest of the card was, the main event certainly lived up to expectations, delivering a brutal and extremely physical contest which saw both men come out strong, even if one can certainly argue that Galloway deserved a longer title reign considering how long he had to wait for it.

If you're still a Lashley doubter (and there are plenty of them), this surely was a persuasive argument of just how much he's improved since his WWECW days, and where it counts (in the ring) he should make for a convincing monster heel champ.

Still not the best match on the card, but absolutely rock solid all the same. 7/10
