For those fearing that AEW may wind up following WWE's lead and putting on ludicrously long PPVs, Tony Khan is keen to keep AEW's major shows at four hours in length.

As per Fightful, Khan discussed this matter during the pre-Full Gear media scrum last night.

The AEW President stated how he really likes the format and length of the company's "big four" PPVs under the current four-hour run time for the main card of these events.

For those wondering, the official length of the main Full Gear card yesterday clocked in at three hours, 58 minutes and 22 seconds. Previously, this year's All Out came in at three hours and 50 minutes, while Double or Nothing 2021 ran at three hours, 59 minutes and 41 seconds.

The point being, AEW is great at sticking within a four-hour timescale for its PPVs. Added to that, of course, there's also the Buy-In shows for those fans wanting an extra match or two on those days where the company is running these big events.

WWE has been a little better with trimming down the length of their PPVs across this past year or so, although one prime example of a PPV completely outstaying its welcome is WrestleMania 35 lasting for nearly eight hours.
