The Undertaker: 7 Candidates For His Retirement Match

7. Kurt Angle

It's an outside chance at this point because Angle isn't in WWE and even though his TNA deal is up in September, there is some doubt whether he will end up in WWE. While it's something a lot of us want to see, there's no guarantee that it will happen. If you look at the best rivals of Undertaker's career he's faced off with most of them at WrestleMania at some point: Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Kane, Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, Edge, Randy Orton, Batista and others. One of the bigger names missing from that list is Kurt Angle, who had many memorable matches with Undertaker including a classic at No Way Out 2006 that I believe is Undertaker's best match that wasn't at a WrestleMania. The reason it makes a lot of sense is because they could bill it as a battle between two legends. Angle can work as a heel or face. It doesn't matter because he's great either way even in his mid 40s with a number of injuries that he's dealing with. They could bill it as Undertaker's retirement match and Angle's return. Doesn't matter who wins. It's a showcase of two legends that would be of interest to fans that are both current ones and those that stopped watching a decade ago.
