R-Truth is sure the place would "come unglued" if he won a World Title in WWE before retiring from the ring. What's more, the 52 year old comedy character knows exactly what match would be perfect for such a moment, and he's keen to pitch it.
Truth told the 'Babyfaces Podcast' that his on-screen character is motivated by revenge now Damian Priest and the rest of Judgment Day have kicked him out after a spell as an honorary member. In short, the veteran thinks it'd be sweet if he wrestled Priest for the World Title after Damian cashes in his Money In The Bank briefcase later this year.
That would definitely rank as one of the most unlikely World Title feuds ever, let's be honest.
Truth thinks it's just wacky enough to work, and reckons fans would be into the rivalry if it was handled correctly. He's been a (two-time) NWA World Champion, United States Champ, and has held tag gold as well as the nonsense 24/7 belt an astonishing 54 times, but Truth has never held the top titles in WWE.
Could this actually happen? Probably not, but his Priest pitch is a lot of fun.
