I should mention that a few of these have been explored on the hilarious, addictive, uber-entertaining Something To Wrestle With Bruce Prichard podcast. When you’re done reading this, you should definitely check out the No Holds Barred episode in particular, because Prichard’s impressions of McMahon are amazing.

This 1989 “blockbuster” was the precursor to WWE Films, and an attempt to capitalize on Hulk Hogan’s Hollywood-crossover appeal. McMahon served as executive producer, financing the film and actually re-writing the script (with Hogan) over three days. If you haven’t seen the movie, you don’t understand just how funny that is.

The film brought in $16,093,651 in total ticket sales, according to Box Office Mojo. As for how much money McMahon lost, he once joked on Raw that “Hogan promised me that if the movie lost money, he was going to return his salary. I guess the check is still in the mail.”
