Vince Russo's 10 Insider Stories From Running WWF Magazine
6. Raw Magazine
Honestly, I was just getting bored with the WWF magazine, and its good-feel, fluff approach. I was bored with itI really was. So, I pitched my boss the concept of us publishing a second magazine, a more serious, cutting edge magazine for the wrestling fan that would take you places inside the wrestling business that you had never gone before. This new publication would include photos with blood, hot women in bikinis, shoot interviews, and yes---we would even talk about the competition---if we dare. So we went with it, and this was before the Internet Wrestling Community even existed. This was the first time ever on such a public stage---that the world was going to get a look into what wrestling really was. It indeed would later help introduce the Attitude into the Attitude Era.
