5. Noam Dar Catches Jay Lethal In The Champagne Super Knee Bar

Going back and forth, ebbing to and fro, Noam Dar and Jay Lethal put on a real classic. It was a show-stealing performance for sure, one contrasting directly with the brutal violence of the Joe Coffey vs. Primate brawl. There was little animosity here, at least not outside the realm of competitive athletes striving to be the best.

Even after soaking up a Figure Four Leg Lock and a variation of the Lethal Injection onto the concrete floor outside the ring, Dar fought back. When he locked in his own Champagne Super Knee Bar, some in the audience actually believed that he was about to become ROH World Champion.

That's a testament to the credibility of the move, but also the selling power of Jay Lethal. Writhing in pain, he came agonisingly close to tapping out. It was compelling drama, and made for a true awesome moment in the match.

Lethal didn't tap, and later hit another Lethal Injection for the victory. Respect was rife, but that would all be spoiled by one another character with different motives.
