WCW's Dungeon Of Doom: Where Are They Now?

3. Lex Luger

After his WWF push as the ‘All American’ babyface failed to take off, Lex Luger would jump ship to Eric Bischoff’s WCW, wherein he would turn heel on Hulk Hogan and side with the Dungeon of Doom. Luger’s status as a big, muscular Adonis never really fit in with the Dungeon’s cast of Saturday morning cartoon characters, and he was dispelled from the group following a losing effort against Hogan and Savage at Uncensored. This to another singles run for Luger, as well as multiple stories involving the nWo.

Following his departure from WCW, Luger appeared sporadically on the independent circuit, as well as for TNA. He has been involved in various legal disputes since his retirement, most of them drug and violence related. In 2003, Luger phoned emergency services to report that his then-girlfriend, Miss Elizabeth, was not breathing. She died shortly thereafter, due to a mixture of vodka and painkillers found in her system. Luger has since become a born-again Christian.
