One of the most recognisable names in wrestling history. Abdullah enjoyed a career which spanned over 50 years. He wrestled for WCW in a number of spells with his most famous moment coming in the infamous Chamber of Horrors match where he was 'electrocuted' live in the ring. WCW and their great ideas... There quite literally isn't anywhere Abdullah hasn't wrestled. He will go down as one of the greats, so much so that he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011. However, 'Superstar' Billy Graham requested his name to be removed from the Hall, saying: "It is a shameless organisation to induct a bloodthirsty animal such as Abdullah the Butcher into their worthless and embarrassing Hall of Fame and I want the name of Superstar Billy Graham to be no part of it." This was due to longstanding accusations that Abdullah was infecting wrestlers with hepatitis C through sharing a blade and/or cutting wrestlers without their knowledge. This revealed itself to be true in the case of Canadian Devon Nicholson, known as Hannibal, who said he contracted hepatitis C when The Butcher bladed him without consent. Nicholson's hep C virus cost him his fledgling WWE career. A court found Abdullah guilty in June 2013. He was ordered to pay 2.3 million dollars in damages. It's a good job he had his restaurant business to fall back on so he could pay this most monstrous bills. Abdullah owns two restaurants, one in southwest Atlanta while the other is in Japan, called 'Abdullah the Butcher's House of Ribs and Chinese Food.'
