10. Jake Atlas

Jake Atlas has had a more intense period following his WWE release than most. His very next appearance was at Game Changer Wrestling's Effy's Big Gay Brunch Chicago event, where he defeated Effy himself. However, Atlas' mind wasn't fully on the business and it wasn't long after that when he released a statement announcing his temporary retirement from wrestling.

"I'm not concussed or banged up. I simply can't keep going anymore. Take your mental health seriously, both for yourselves & for each other, because we only have one life to live," he said in his statement, before following up with "Unfortunately, it was unhealthy for me the entire time. I just learned how to hide it really well. I hope that friends & fans I’ve made alike continue to support me no matter what."

Since then Atlas has come out of retirement, making his in-ring return and AEW debut at the 28 December edition of AEW Dark. Fans can only hope that he's enjoying being in the ring again and not just hiding his pain once again, especially as Jake tore his ACL in January in a match against Adam Cole and is currently in recovery.

After hearing that you are what you eat, Mik took a good hard look at his diet and realised he might just be a szechuan spare rib alongside prawn fried rice.
