What Working For Kevin Dunn Was REALLY Like In WWE

Backstage insight into the final days of Kevin Dunn in WWE.

Long-serving WWE executive and renowned camera cut fetishist Kevin Dunn left WWE after 40 years as 2023 drew to a close - and Fightful Select has now published a report on the veteran Executive Producer's final days in the company.

One source told the outlet's Corey Brennan that Dunn hadn't been as difficult to work with as expected. He did, however, "demand the best out of everyone", and had his fingers in every component of WWE's broadcasts, including graphics, lighting, camerawork, audio, pyro, and video.

Described as the "ring leader" of WWE's broadcasts, Dunn often intervened and provided feedback if he saw something he thought could be improved.

Dunn appeared to get along well with Paul 'Triple H' Levesque, Bruce Prichard, and, unsurprisingly, Vince McMahon, and WWE's many producers. He would frequently exchange ideas with them without stepping on too many toes. Interestingly, Fightful writes of a "focus on safety", noting Cody Rhodes' WrestleMania 38 as an example. There was a long hold on pyrotechnics for that explosion, so Dunn had to ensure the camera crew filming from the ramp weren't hit.

A known Vince McMahon ally, Dunn had been amongst the most influential figures in WWE for decades before his departure.
