Which Rare WWE Group Did Sasha Banks & Bayley Join On Raw?
The 'Golden Role Models' just made history...
Sasha Banks and Bayley made WWE history on last night's episode of Raw.
A Twitter page called @WWEStats confirmed that Sasha's Raw Women's Title win means she and Bayley become only the fifth team in company history to both hold singles titles and tag-team belts at the same time.
They join Triple H and Steve Austin (who worked together as the 'Two-Man Power Trip' in 2001), Kevin Nash and Shawn Michaels, Owen Hart and The British Bulldog, and the team of Ken Shamrock and Big Boss Man. What's more, Sasha and Bayley are the first female team to join this exclusive club.
Not bad for two ladies who were reportedly unhappy following last year's WrestleMania 35, eh?
Rumours about their backstage hissy fits were grossly exaggerated, but Sasha and Bayley were probably disillusioned with losing the Women's Tag Titles so quickly after winning them. Fast forward to the summer of 2020 though and they're in a much better place.
Bayley is the reigning SmackDown Women's, Sasha the new Raw Women's (officially this time) and both are co-reigning Women's Tag Champs again. They're making history as a key part of WWE programming.
