Why Cesaro Is Finally Getting A WWE Push

1. Why Not Cesaro?

If you're still not sold on Cesaro getting a big push over on SmackDown, ask yourself 'why not Cesaro?'.

This current push is one that's long overdue.

It's ten years since Cesaro signed with WWE, and in that time he's shown he's one of the most trusted in-ring hands they have, one of the genuinely elite workers in the company, will always put the work in, and is somebody who has never caused a single issue for Vince McMahon's promotion.

Just look at some of the wrestlers who have been granted a shot in main event scene in that decade, and then look at Cesaro being overlooked throughout that time. Not to throw too much shade their way, but are names like Ryback, Alberto Del Rio, Jack Swagger and Jinder Mahal more worthy of a main event opportunity than Cesaro? Absolutely not.

Cesaro has earned this chance, he's put 20 years into becoming one of the best in the world at his craft, and it's now down to him and him alone to see how things play out from here.

If recent WWE programming is to believed, the company is finally getting behind Cesaro. And for Claudio Castagnoli, this is his chance to grab that proverbial brass ring we've all heard so much about.
