Drew McIntyre's recent globetrotting efforts have drawn backstage praise in WWE, where the SmackDown star has earned plaudits for keeping a busy schedule.

PWInsider's Mike Johnson reports that several people within WWE have hailed McIntyre for his commitment lately. This could be down to a chaotic travel itinerary that saw him go between the United States, Germany, and Switzerland for SmackDown-branded shows, then over to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel 2022.

After that, McIntyre was in India for a "movie role" WWE had brokered with Sony, before Drew headed back to the USA for SmackDown and a pair of live events. This schedule kept McIntyre on the road on WWE business nonstop for several weeks. For his sake, here's hoping things calm down soon.

One of WWE's most consistently-pushed wrestlers over the past few years, McIntyre has spent the last couple of months feuding with Karrion Kross, who was brought back to WWE under Triple H's leadership. Most recently, the duo met in a steel cage match at Crown Jewel (5 November), with McIntyre winning.

Drew also headlined Clash At The Castle (3 September) against Roman Reigns, mounting a failed challenge for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
