Will Batista Come Back To WWE?

Former WWE star Batista is currently on a media tour promoting this week's release of his newest film, Spectre, which is the latest in the James Bond series. Now a successful actor following his role in Guardians Of The Galaxy, Batista is still often asked about a possible short-term return to professional wrestling. As part of a question and answer session with WSVN-TV in Mexico, Batista's answer when asked about a return to WWE was quite interesting. He said that he would only return to wrestling if he was booked to wrestle house shows (non-televised events). According to Batista, wrestling is no longer about big money or an easy schedule for him. It sounds as if he would come back just for the fun of it, and he really didn't like dealing with the television booking committee during his last run with WWE. Batista said that he prefers to just wrestle and interact with the live crowd at house shows without having to worry about how he's being booked. Batista also spoke about his booking heading into WrestleMania XXX in 2014. WWE was originally planning on going with a Randy Orton vs. Batista main event that year for the WWE World Heavyweight Title, but a wave of momentum surrounding Daniel Bryan forced WWE to change the direction for WrestleMania. According to Batista, he asked to be booked as a heel in that feud because he doesn't consider himself a good babyface. Instead, WWE insisted he work babyface despite Batista being viciously boo'ed by the crowd. In Batista's view, he was sent out to say the "same crap" every week.
