Will Cody Rhodes Or Stardust Return On Monday's WWE Raw?

Rhodes set to return after the death of his legendary father but as which persona?

Cody Rhodes is set to make his WWE return on next Monday's edition of Raw in Chicago according to PWInsider. He has been off TV since his father Dusty Rhodes died unexpectedly on June 11. Since he wasn't a part of any storylines at the time, his absence hasn't hurt any plans although fans have been wondering when he might come back and in what role.

If he returns as the heel Stardust character that draws "Cody" chants from the fans that want to annoy him, it just won't feel right. Now seems like a good time to have him return to the Cody Rhodes name, work as a babyface that is carrying on his father's legacy and see how far he can go in that role. Cody's wife Brandi, who goes by the name Eden on WWE TV, has already returned to her job as a ring announcer, as well as a backstage interviewer.
The long term storyline that he was going to be a part of involved actor Stephen Amell from the TV show Arrow. They were rumoured to have a match at SummerSlam, but if he goes back to being just Cody Rhodes then that probably won't happen. Cody has been on WWE's main roster for the past eight years and just turned 30 years old on Tuesday.
