1. The Undertaker's Last Ride

While the Hardy Boyz’ return was WrestleMania 33’s most euphoric moment, it will ultimately go down as the show’s second biggest talking point. Nothing is official yet, but it’s extremely likely that The Undertaker wrestled his final WWE match last night, ensuring that while WM33 might not be remembered as one of the best Manias of all-time, it’ll go down as one of the most significant.

The clock has been ticking on The Deadman’s career since Brock Lesnar broke the Streak, and last night, time finally ran out. His run concluded with a sad, depressing performance full of botches, and regardless of whether or not Roman Reigns was the right guy to send him packing, nobody needs to see another match like this.

As The Undertaker removed his hat and gloves, folded his coat, and left the ring, it felt like the end of an era, and a perfect, bittersweet moment. He was given the Old Yeller treatment, but Taker went out by putting a younger wrestler over on the show that defines his legacy, which is probably exactly what he wanted.

The contest was hard to watch for all the wrong reasons, but The Undertaker’s post-match “farewell” will be remembered forever. For many wrestling fans, Taker has been alongside them since the day they were introduced to the sport. Now he’s gone, and for the first time in 27 years, the WWE Universe must look to a future without him.
