WrestleMania 40 WON'T Be The Rock's Only WWE Match In 2024

Huge news on The Rock's WWE future. WrestleMania 40 won't be a one off!

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WrestleMania 40 won't be The Rock's only in-ring appearance for WWE this year. In fact, company officials want to draft 'The Great One' in for a match over in Saudi Arabia too.

WWE's next jaunt to Saudi occurs on 25 May. The Observer did also hint that Rock vs. Roman Reigns is being considered internally for that show, which would do monster business. However, many fans still have a bad taste in their mouths over these Saudi Arabian excursions overall; perhaps those folks would prefer if this Bloodline implosion happened elsewhere?

Money talks though.

Dave Meltzer did say there are "a lot of variables in play" here. The Rock is obviously very busy in Hollywood, and he's now on the board for TKO/WWE too. That means his schedule is even wilder than it was before, so he'll naturally be picky about when and where he actively wrestles matches.

WWE will get to Rocky vs. Roman at some point, but it's interesting to think they've pencilled it in for the next Saudi PLE.

Stay tuned for more info when it breaks.
