Chris Masters has teased a WWE return via Twitter.

The wrestler, who hasn't worked a match for the company since 2011, posted footage of himself working at a Ring Of Pakistan event. Notably, Masters came out as 'The Masterpiece', and even used his old WWE entrance music. That wasn't what got people talking though.

Later, Chris posted a countdown on his official Twitter page. Then, he tagged WWE in the post - this is either someone beginning the build towards his comeback, or a dude who knows how to get pro wrestling fans talking. Either way, it's smart and did blow up the comments.

Masters' final WWE bout was a loss to Jack Swagger on the 4 August 2011 edition of Superstars. Before that, Chris had become something of a surprise success story in-ring. He'd worked tirelessly to improve himself as a worker before being canned by the promotion.

Triple H might have his eye on a few shock entrants in both 30-person Rumbles next month. Will Chris Masters be one of the names featured? Only time will tell, but stranger things have happened.
