7. Austin Ties The Undertaker To His Own Symbol (May 17, 1999)
That fact didn't stop Steve Austin from gaining revenge on The Undertaker for the crucifixion incident the previous December. In May, right before facing 'Taker at Over The Edge, Austin overpowered his rival and strapped him to his own cross. This was only done to even the score before the pay-per-view, during which Austin would defend the WWF Heavyweight Title against The Undertaker. The caveat was that Shane McMahon would be the Special Guest Referee, with Vince McMahon acting as an outside enforcer.
