8. The Shield Winning All The Gold
I think we all breathed a sigh of relief when we realized that WWE had learned from their mistakes with The Nexus and were willing to go all the way with The Shield. They had one of the best matches of 2012 at TLC that year and got some huge clean wins over teams with guys like John Cena, Sheamus and Randy Orton in them. The Shield finally got the one thing they needed to prove that they meant business at Extreme Rules when all three of them walked out with a title. They won their matches clean and convincingly and silenced any doubters they may have had in the process. Reigns and Rollins would go on to lose their tag titles to The Rhodes Brothers but Dean still holds his US Championship to this day. Whilst his reign could have been much better, Extreme Rules 2013 was The Shield's night and they're still going strong now.
