WWE: 10 Best Jumps From The Top Of A Steel Cage

6. The Hardy Boyz vs The Dudley Boyz - Survivor Series 2001

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSTpZ-X25PM My personal favorite tag team feud in WWF history, the Dudley Boyz and the Hardy Boyz (WWF sure did love their Z's, huh?) fought in numerous different types of matches in the late 90's/early 2000's, and along with Edge & Christian, set the standard for what tag team wrestling could be. This match took place towards the end of the Invasion angle, with the Dudleys holding the WCW Tag Team Championship and the Hardys the WWF Tag Team titles. This was a unification match and it would be decided inside a steel cage. It was a typical tag match that just happened to take place in the structure, with both teams hitting their usual spots and trading momentum throughout. Part way through the match, the Dudley Boyz really started to dominate and had the Hardyz on the ropes, so to say. Bubba Ray saw this as the moment to take full advantage of the situation and ordered Stacy Keibler, acting as the Dudleys manager at the time, to get a table and get it in the ring. After showing referee Nick Patrick her, um, assets, Stacy acquired the key to the cage door and slid the table in to her men. The Dudleys immediately went for a 3D on Jeff through the table, but Matt was able to take out Bubba and Jeff reversed D'Von's attempt into a DDT. Matt made his way to the top of the cage, and Bubba followed, but the elder Hardy was able to fight him off and make his way to the outside and the floor. But this was a tag match, meaning both members would have to escape, or gain a pinfall, to win. This left Jeff in the ring with the Dudleys, and he was able to hit D'Von with a succession of kicks that left him laid out on the table while Jeff scaled the corner of the ring. But instead of leaving the cage for the win and the belts, he saw D'Von prone on the table and took off with a Swanton Bomb. But D'Von was able to move, and Jeff crashed through the table, landing in a heap amongst the splintered wood and twisted metal that was left of the table. Bubba would get the pinfall victory and earn his team the belts, but the sight and rush of Jeff Hardy coming off the top of the cage through that table was the highlight of the match.
