5. Ultimate Warrior
Without a doubt, Ultimate Warrior was one of the most promising wrestlers in the WWF. In his prime, Ultimate Warrior matched it with the best in the business, Hollywood Hulk Hogan, and their rivalry was legendary, especially their encounter at Wrestlemania VI, in which Hulk Hogan put his WWF Championship against Ultimate Warrior's Intercontinental title. During his short time in the WWF, Warrior would become the most popular wrestler in the business, said to have eclipsed the Hulk Hogan as the face of the company, a mantle that Hogan had occupied for the 80's. However, Warrior's career was cut someone abruptly due to several pay disputes with the WWF and Vince McMahon. Warrior had several comeback attempts, but never reached the same height that he had achieved in his first stint. Despite Ultimate Warriors incredible personality, he didn't get the opportunities to convert that popularity into an overwhelming number of title reigns, as he was a 2 time Intercontinental Champion and 1 time World Champion, and was the first person in the WWF/WWE to hold two titles at once after beating Hogan in their legendary title versus title match. Warrior then fell out with the company over various payment disputes, but has once again patched up ties and is set to be featured in WWE 2K14 game as a bonus pre-order feature.
