5. Winning The Royal Rumble
A Royal Rumble win is a very nice feather for a wrestler's cap, looking through the list of Rumble winners we see many all-time greats occupying it, Austin, Hart, Michaels, Hogan, Taker etc. So why has Punk, one of the biggest guys in the company, never won the match? Some may argue that the timing wasn't right, I say that the 2011 Rumble was the perfect opportunity, instead they went with Alberto Del Rio who is nowhere near the level that Punk ascended to. A Rumble win isn't essential for a star's credibility, but it's certainly one for the record books. Punk's accolades seem somewhat incomplete without it, Cena's won two, Batista's won two and Orton won in 2009, Punk has reached their level of star power so what gives? Punk will go down in history and is a guaranteed Hall of Famer nonetheless, but his lack of a Rumble win will always be noticeable as this year's Rumble seemed like his last realistic chance.
