WWE: 10 Candidates For Coaches On Revamped 'Tough Enough'

8. Christian

Yes, as of now, Christian is still a member of the active roster, but not for long. He is currently out of action with a concussion and it's still unknown as to when or even if he'll be back in the ring, though he appeared as a panelist at the NXT Takeover event on May 29. Christian has suffered several injuries over the years and they're all slowly starting to catch up with him. At the age of 40, it may be time for Christian to hang up his boots for good. There have been recent rumblings that Christian might be retiring before the end of this year and that may occur as soon as this fall when his wrestling contract expires. However, it is quite possible that Christian would be brought as an agent or a trainer to the younger talent. Christian would be the perfect mentor to anyone on NXT or, better yet, Tough Enough. A former two-time world champion, Christian has spent nearly two decades in the wrestling business and has achieved an ample amount of success. He has the experience that qualifies him to be a coach on the revamped Tough Enough and also an impressive background as a tag team competitor. He and Edge are widely regarded by fans to be one of the greatest tandems in history and he can teach the rookies a thing or two about the art of tag team wrestling.
