WWE: 10 Most Disappointing Things About WrestleMania 30
9. Lack Of Titles
The WWE has a lot of championships but they are almost unrecognisable to similar WWE title belts as little as 10 years ago. Ironically there was a time when championship belts actually meant something, after all they were the symbols of wrestling excellence and were respected as such by the company and fans alike. Now it would seem that that WWE title belts are looked upon and treated as bits of tin. This devaluation of the belts is largely due to the fact that a strange culture currently exists in the modern WWE of throwing title belts at superstars in a cheap attempt to make superstars great, when really to quote Shawn Michaels, The Superstar makes the title. Thus it is not surprising that at Wrestlemania 30 it looks like the only belt in contention will be the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The days of Intercontinental, Tag and Womens Wrestlemania title bouts look to be over, which on a night allegedly celebrating 30 years of Wrestlemania history is very disappointing and again reflects the seeming demise of the WWE creative direction.
