WWE: 10 Most Disappointing Things About WrestleMania 30

10. Andre the Giant Battle Royal

Andre The Giant Memorial While the Andre the Giant Battle Royal might seem a highlight of Wrestlemania 30, it certainly smacks of being a €˜filler€™ event. There is currently no reflection of the hard working mid card roster or divas roster on the Wrestlemania card. This Battle Royal seems to have one major consequence and that is to use a lot of the mid card talent and lot of air time in a relatively cheap way with no promotion, no storyline and indeed no creativity. We have only just witnessed a rather depressing edition of the Royal Rumble, ending in Batista mocking Daniel Bryan amidst a deafening chorus of boos, so why the WWE thinks it a great move to commission a similar event at the supposedly €˜Greatest€™ Wrestlemania of all time is puzzling. In reality this event might pay homage to Andre the Giant, but what it really means for the WWE fans is the best part of an hour of filler time between the main matches. Yes a lot of superstars will get Wrestlemania exposure, but an exposure at the cost of well thought out storylines, worked promos and wrestling clinics in the ring.
