You just know this one is probably going to end up a match of the year contender if it ever happens. Daniel Bryan is arguably the best wrestler in the world right now, Kurt Angle arguably the best wrestler in the world ever. Both have similar in-ring styles that combine technical wrestling with outrageous athleticism. You can just imagine the excitement these two could generate with transitions of submission holds, big aerial maneuvers, huge suplexes, near falls and reversals - Bryan and Angle can do it all with a smoothness and accuracy that is envied throughout the industry. They also happen to be fantastically entertaining on the microphone - you can be sure there would be some genuinely hilarious comedy moments in the build for this encounter. Will it happen? I think there is a very good chance at some point in the future we will see it. Kurt's contract is up in the summer of 2014, the indication from him has been he may go home to "father figure" Vince McMahon. Kurt is a savvy business man. He knows where the money is. Angle is also a big ego, he wants to seal his "legacy" and go out on top. Given these goals he has no choice but to return to the major leagues of the WWE. Once back with the industry juggernaut, Kurt will demand the best opponents. Undertaker, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and John Cena are the wrestlers who Kurt wants to work with. Byran vs Angle is one to keep your eyes out for over the next couple of years.
