This battle of the big men is reminiscent of the old days of box office promotion, two huge muscular behemoths fighting it out to see who is the dominant alpha male. It is a proven draw, the masses buy into this kind of conflict. The fact that both are two of the biggest stars of the last decade and have never met on the main stage also means this is one of the few unique matches that WWE can present in 2014. Fans don't buy into repeats, they buy into new concepts, "first time evers" and "never been done before". Lesnar and Batsita can be the Hogan vs Andre for the entertainment era, the irresistible force versus the immovable object. In terms of the likelihood to happen, I think there is a decent chance. WWE could even be considering it right now for Wrestlemania 30. At the very least there will be someone who has suggested it backstage. McMahon has both men under contract, why not? It could also be a strong contender to be the traditional huge Summerslam match that WWE like to book. There are some nice bits of history that WWE could incorporate into the feud, footage of the two rookies fighting it out in 2001's OVW trainging ground. WWE could say the men have been kept apart for the next 14 years out of fear of the damage their explosive force could do to each other. This feud has money written all over it if presented right.
