Lex Luger had a certain look... but far from impressive, it was more of a disturbing look. His shiny oiled up bright orange muscles looked more like an inflated plastic suit - but it was in fact a stack of steroid enhanced growth. Luger traded on this look, and famously slammed Yokozuna with his "superman" like strength. It got Luger over to an extent, but there was a price to pay for this un-natural development of strength and size. Lex now talks openly about his battle with drugs, admitting he went through huge cocktails of prescription drugs, recreational drugs and steroid abuse. Luger now walks with a cane and suffer various other ailments - he admits it is a miracle he is not dead. Unfortunately for his girlfriend, 80's WWF star Miss Elizabeth, she was not so lucky. She died aged 42 in 2003, from acute toxicity brought on by a mixture of vodka and pain pill abuse. "I take a lot of responsibility for that -- my influence in her life," Luger says. "Her little heart and body couldn't take what I was doing." When police searched Luger's house following Elizabeth's death, they found over 1,000 illegal pills. Luger has since cleaned up his act and become a born again christian.
