WWE: 10 Most Excruciatingly Awkward Promos Ever Cut

7. Melina Gives A Boring Press Conference - Raw August 28, 2006

Melina Mick Foley has done many awesome things in his career in WWE, but convincing Vince to put his real-life friend Melina in a program with him and Ric Flair was not the smartest idea in the world. Melina was the reason Foley said I Quit to Flair at Summerslam 2006, and the next night when Vince McMahon threatened to fire Melina, Mick joined the Kiss My Ass club and was then subsequently low-blowed by Melina. It was the heel turn nobody wanted nor cared about. But Melina felt the need to gloat. And gloat she did the next week on Raw in the form of a press conference. She was extremely long-winded, and she lost the crowd immediately. Rather than play to the crowd and tell them to be quiet while she was talking, she continued on with her pre-scripted speech. Melina's normal voice is annoying enough (she used to scream during MNM's matches), and hearing her rant and rave was like hearing nails across a chalkboard. It was so bad that Jeff Hardy made a joke about watching paint dry being as boring as Melina's press conference. When Jeff freakin' Hardy is making fun of your promo skills, you know you delivered a stinker.
