WWE: 10 Greatest Superstars Of The 2000s So Far

1. John Cena

john cena John Cena has been everything to WWE in the past decade. That may be a statement which surprises some, but for this writer, he has consistently been the man that has carried WWE since 2005. He is the modern day equivalent of Hulk Hogan and Steve Austin, whether you like him or not. It really can't be denied by any WWE fan. He has been given less credit than he has deserved with his feuds and in ring performances too, with some very entertaining matches and angles under his belt. He has been a part of (or created) some of WWE's biggest moments and for that, he is a true Hall of Fame candidate already. That statement came from someone who has not really invested in his character since before he turned face in 2004, which speaks volumes about the impact he has had. His popularity, his dedication, his merchandise sales, his connection with children - he may not be everyone's idea of a perfect wrestler, but he has proved to everyone that he is rightfully WWE's captain and will remain so for a little while longer yet.
