WWE: 10 Huge Errors On The Road To WrestleMania 30

6. Making Lesnar Look Weak On Television

The errors with the promotion of Brock and Taker has been so bad that it extends beyond one point. WWE have compounded their creative folly by booking Brock Lesnar to do almost nothing other than get stabbed by a pen from Taker. The baddest man on the planet looks downright weak. This is a way bigger error than it appears on the surface when you consider how much money WWE are paying in Lesnar. Those Raw appearances don't come cheap. Yet the best value the company can get out of them is a few Lesnar poses? Sure he hit an F5 on Taker during the go-home show, but let's be honest, WWE had already drained this match beyond belief over the last month of what it could have been in the build-up to Sunday. That error could even see a knock on for PPV buys, this was the one match WWE could grab some mainstream casual fans with, instead they've made it clear Lesnar is just Taker's whipping boy for Mania. The Wrestling Observer has reported that the feeling backstage in WWE is the company has really screwed this feud up. It has been well and truly a case of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. You thought WWE couldn't blow Taker versus Lesnar. They did.
