WWE: 10 Jobs You Won't Believe That Wrestlers Once Did
7. Bobby Lashley Was In The Armed Forces
This was hyped up during his run, but if you didn't know, former ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley had a six year career in the United States Armed Forces. After graduating from college as an accomplished amateur wrestler, he went on to become a two time Armed Forces Champion also. Of course, his pedigree was spotted by the WWE and he was brought in to be given a monster push. He didn't stick around very long to see it through but during that run he won multiple championships and headlined pay-per-views. Lashley was even involved in the Wrestlemania match involving Mr. McMahon and Donald Trump, after which he helped shaved the boss' hair. The guy never really lived up to the billing in the WWE, but has since taken up mixed martial arts, earning victory in all of his early fights and more recently struggles to get a fighter to face him. Multiple opponents have pulled out before scheduled bouts against Lashley citing injury, illness or failed drug tests. To be fair, he does look pretty intimidating. Perhaps he would have made a better star than John Cena for The Marine?
