WWE: 10 Main Event Matches We Want For The Network Launch Raw
7. Daniel Bryan vs Kane
The former Team Hell No have not been getting along very much lately. That being said, they didn't get along when tag team champions either. However, this is a feud that has been picking up heat in the recent weeks. Following Punk's departure after the Royal Rumble, the Authority, specifically Kane, has turned their attention towards Bryan. Even at last week's Raw they had a match, although unknown to Bryan until the last minute. The reason this is on the list is because it is one of the most likely. Depending on how they deal with the Chamber match, they could use this match on this night to fuel a match for Bryan between either Orton or Triple H. As Director of Operations, Kane is often doing the dirty work for Hunter and Stephanie. Here, he can continue just that for Triple H as that is the feud the WWE will focus on heading towards Wrestlemania. However, the reason this isn't higher on the list is because of one reason. Kane is not a marquee figure right now. He is in that gray area, along with wrestlers such as the Big Show, where he is a memorable and future Hall of Fame wrestler, but his time at the top is clearly done. I have all the respect for Kane and always thought he deserved better in the company. However, he isn't at that place right now. On the flipside of that, he has been appearing on WWE TV, minus minor injury breaks, for many years now. With that, the aura of eras of past that such figures as the Undertaker or Sting bring is not with Kane. While this match will happen in the upcoming weeks, it isn't the top match for this Monday's card.
