7. The Chris Benoit Tribute Show

We all know by now that Chris Benoit killed his wife and young son and then killed himself. With the information that was available back then, McMahon pulled Raw from the TV schedule as it was assumed Benoit and family had been killed by outside forces. A three hour long programme, which was a tribute to Benoit was aired with Vince as the solemn host. Within the next 24 hours, it was discovered that Benoit himself had perpetrated a double murder and then hung himself. McMahon was forced into the embarrassing position of having to apologise for giving a tribute show to a murderer. Ever since then, there has been no mention of Chris Benoit and the WWE has done everything in its power to eradicate all traces of Benoit. McMahon also started a big clean up of WWE wrestling.
