4. Death Of Vince McMahon
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5GZO3Hfa4A Vince McMahon has done lots of very stupid and embarrassing things in his role as the Head of the WWE. One of his most tasteless exploits was staging his own death in 2007. It was McMahon appreciation night on Raw, but people were not praising him, they were making derogatory remarks about him. Vince flounced off and got into his limo which promptly exploded. Most fans knew that this was McMahon was d**king around but of course you get the usual idiot fans believing it as well. This is what McMahon cynically wanted - lots of debate and high ratings. And he would have milked the is he or isn't he dead? angle for all it was worth. Unfortunately for McMahon, a huge spanner was in the works - the Benoit tragedy. Without knowing the details of what happened, McMahon pulled Raw and staged an elaborate tribute to Benoit, thereby acknowledging he was alive and ending the pretty shabby storyline there and then. He had further egg on his face when he acknowledged Benoit's terrible deeds and apologised to the viewers for the memorial show he had just screened for him. Vince has said that he faked his own death to see what people thought of him. He was particularly upset by his daughter Stephanie's response which was one of insincere lamenting and greed to see what her inheritance was. Even his own kid thinks he is a pr**k.
