The two performers met on several occasions leading into their final encounter, with Paige losing by disqualification on the July 1, 2012 episode of FCW TV but getting the last laugh thanks to an impressive beatdown of Audrey Marie. On July 15, they settled their rivalry in a rare Divas No Disqualification match. The match was an aggressive one that saw both ladies unleash on one another with noticeable intensity but really failed to play up the No Disqualification rules. Late in the bout, Paige introduced a steel chair but it was never utilized. A DDT by Audrey Marie ended the match as the beautiful Texan scored a big victory over the future Divas and NXT Women's champion. The match was the culmination of one of Paige's signature rivalries during her FCW days. She would wind up on the losing end of the program but, two years later, she is starring on WWE television as the top star in the Divas division. Not too shabby for a young woman who lost more than she won early in her developmental days.
