WWE: 10 Potentially Awesome Feuds For Batista's Return
4. John Cena
What better way to return than going full circle? Batista left after a feud with John Cena and returning to face the same man will play out incredibly well, returning to settle score years after he tried to prove who was the better man. The feud and match will sell as it gathers interest from the wrestling fans, and fans would definitely want to watch this match. Especially because at one point both men were at the top of the world and it was difficult to separate them both, but since Batista has left Cena has continued to grow, and that's something Batista can return to put a halt to. Just like previously Batista must play the same heel character or an even better heel to really turn the fans against him and make them despise him. His final promo in the WWE ring was excellent sitting in the wheelchair and threatening to quit was great to watch, and the key factor in that promo was that he said the WWE fans needed him more than he needed the fans, and at times it felt like that really was the case. John Cena has been in and out of feuds ever since his recovery, a mini-feud with Alberto Del Rio followed up by a short feud against Randy Orton. If the WWE actually want John Cena to be involved in an interesting and relevant feud then they need to book John Cena and Batista together again it is a logical way of keeping John Cena busy and allows the fans to reminisce about the times when John Cena and Batista finally met face to face. A feud with John Cena is the perfect to get back into the WWE. Having sat back long enough once more to see John Cena enjoy his rise to the top, only for Batista to try and take it all away from him.
