2. An Incredibly Deep Roster

If you look back at the best years in WWE history, the strength of the company was in their roster depth. In those great years of 2000 and 2001 they had tremendous talents like Steve Austin, The Rock, The Undertaker, Kurt Angle and Triple H on top while the likes of Chris Jericho, Kane, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Edge & Christian, The Hardy Boys, The Dudley Boys, Trish Stratus, Lita and others filled out the midcard. They may never have a roster like that again, but what they're doing is assembling the kind of deep roster that will lay the foundation for a bright future. The current WWE roster also has the potential to be great. With an established top guy like John Cena on top as well as other big name former multi-time champions like Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton and Batista in prominent roles, they have people in place that can put over the younger talent when the time is right. Add in Daniel Bryan as a featured performer that's in the prime of his career that is not only the best in-ring performer in the company, but also the most popular guy right now in terms of crowd reactions. Looking at the rest of the roster, there are guys like Wyatt, Cesaro, Reigns, Rollins, Ambrose, Big E and a tag team like The Usos that all have untapped potential. When you add in NXT level stars like Sami Zayn, Adrian Neville and Bo Dallas you can see that WWE is on the right path in terms of setting things up for their future. What will be key is how WWE integrates the top guys with the rising stars. Cena/Wyatt is a great start. If we see matches like Reigns/Lesnar or a long feud with Cesaro/Orton those are the kinds of things that will help the product overall.
