6. Great Wrestling Matches On Television
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jymC3UkMuGU The amount of great wrestling matches so far this year has been amazing. It's hard to pick just one match as the best, but there have been a number of serious contenders such as Wyatt vs. Bryan, Cena vs. Cesaro, Wyatt Family vs. Shield (twice) and Cesaro vs. Zayn just to name a few. It seems like every week on WWE TV there are usually four or five matches getting 15 minutes of in-ring time. When you have matches on TV of that length on a consistent basis the quality is going to go up especially since WWE has a really talented roster right now. Since Raw has gone to three hours full time two years ago, the best thing about the show has been the longer matches on television. All of the great matches are likely going to continue. Whether it's the influence of Triple H backstage bringing an old school wrestler feel to the product or Vince McMahon realizing that great matches on TV can be beneficial to the company overall in a PG environment, it feels like a new era. It's the dawning of an era where there's going to be less silly gimmicks, less backstage segments and more focus on the in-ring product. If that's the case then that will truly be what's best for business.
